COMPANY PROFILE

"Cultivating organic results for clients from our garden of internet marketing expertise"

Ad Authority is a motivated direct marketing company that creates long-term sticky partnerships with Fortune 500 companies. Ad Authority participates in the success of their clients with proprietary software and database management. AA is interested in finding more companies interested in low-risk marketing campaigns on a cost per close vertical integrated business model. We strive to build a different type of marketing relationship that takes the risk out of internet marketing and attracts more share of the ever growing shift in advertising dollars to the internet.

At Ad Authority, we have taken the idea of becoming a 'green company' and implemented the concept into all aspects of our business practices. From switching to a paperless company, to adding recycling bins throughout our twenty thousand square foot office space, to offering internal employee benefits to those who car pool, we now strive to work in an environment with less waste and clutter.

AA has changed the way it does business now to include an exclusive paperless communication system and a paperless tracking and reporting system. Sometimes we have to use paper to send letters and important documents through the USPS. In response to this necessity, we now used recycled paper between 30% and 50% post-consumer content copier-paper. This transition from using new paper to recycled paper saves roughly 7.2 to 12 trees per 1 ton of paper consumed.

How many sheets of paper come from a single tree? *

  • 1 ton of uncoated virgin (non-recycled) printing and office paper uses 24 trees
  • 1 ton of 100% virgin (non-recycled) newsprint uses 12 trees
  • A pallet of copier paper (20-lb. sheet weight, or 20#) contains 40 cartons and weighs 1 ton. Therefore:
  • 1 carton (10 reams) of 100% virgin copier paper uses 0.6 trees
  • 1 tree makes 16.67 reams of copy paper or 8,333.3 sheets
  • In order to produce 1 ream of paper (500 pages), 6% of a fir or pine tree must be used.
  • 1 ton of coated, higher-end virgin magazine paper (used for magazines like National Geographic and many others) uses a little more than 15 trees (15.36)
  • 1 ton of coated, lower-end virgin magazine paper (used for newsmagazines and most catalogs) uses nearly 8 trees (7.68)
